Is it really the last day of March? Hard to believe, but spring weather is on its way — yay! Today’s outfit: My Picasso striped tee, over a chambray shirt (this one could work) favorite old army pants, a J. Crew men’s belt, and my trusty loafers. Happy Weekend, everyone! xx
These sweet velvet Mary Janes are giving Dôen vibes and would look perfect with just about anything.
Here’s a great pair of Gap low-rise jeans for those of you who keep asking (and they would be extra cute with those Mary Janes ^^^).
I love Patchouli, but you have to be so careful or you end up smelling like a traveling Deadhead (and I LOVE the Dead). I used to use so much of it back in the day (after a while you can’t smell yourself!) until the guy at my local deli actually nicknamed me, as in “Good morning, Patchouli!” My secret since then has been one teeny-tiny dab of Bigelow Perfume Oil mixed with my other fragrances. It’s the best version I have ever used and gives me just enough of the scent I crave.
Here’s a great pair of readers with a different kind of aviator vibe.
You can’t go wrong with a good linen shirt, and this one rings in just under $35.
I know the price is obnoxious, but Hermès Lip Enhancer in Rose Tan is pretty much the perfect non-lipstick shade I’ve ever used (I love the even more sheer Rose Abricot, too). p.s. It comes in such a chic, magnetic-close case. p.p.s when you use it up you can get a refill. p.p.p.s. It’s an affordable piece of Hermès luxury!
This ultra-popular Il Bisonte bag is finally back in stock, and just in time for warmer days (it’s a true classic and the leather only gets better with age).
I took one look at this long satin skirt and threw it in my cart. I plan on dressing it way down with tee shirts, Birks and sandals all season long.
While checking out at the Duane Reade near my office, I noticed a really pretty nail color on the woman who was helping me. She quickly led me over to cosmetics where she revealed this perfect sheer shade that just gives just enough pink and dries in seconds flat.
Le Labo patchouli. ‘Nuff said
Deli guy’s greeting made me cackle! We had a patchouli bush in my parents house backyard, brings back memories.
WOW!!
Sold something on Postmark and the buyer contacted me and asked where I got my Patchouli Laundry detergent. ooops.
LOL
Beware cool toned girls – that Hermes shade looks straight up neon golden orange on me. BUT the lipstick cases are true works of art. It’s worth figuring out which shade works so you too can pull that case out of your bag and feel chic and sophisticated.
