The Ultimate Transitional Shoe

I was thinking how much I love when boot season rolls around, but a bit before that, like right now, is the very perfect time for clogs (as is spring, and of course, summer). I’ve been wearing these classic No. 6 Old Schools almost every day lately, because they have that slight back-to-school vibe, are so easy and go with just about anything.  I also love them with socks — these in particular, which have tiny cables, making them a tad collegiate, plus they’re thin enough not to bunch.

Here’s another great No,6 number on sale that would look extra cute with soft woolly tights and dresses.

Everlane’s refined version is extra good in the off-white.

Cheetah print calf hair gives these Madewells a fun edge.

And speaking of a fun edge, I did a few internal somersaults when I saw these furry Danskos!

Mia’s slight platform heeled sandals are also a great option for a tights and dresses kind of thing.

Swedish Hasbeen Husband clogs are the perfect classic specimen.

No.6’s leopard calf hair Old Schools are now on sale!

This pair is a sweet T-strap Mary Jane, except better.

These braid-trim Mias remind me of a sexier version of the ones I used to wear with Lee overalls as a twelve-year-old camper.

And of course I couldn’t do a clog post without including my beloved Magnafieds! Right now I am really feeling the Pendelton ones, which are perfect for the crisper weather.
