The IWTBH Fall Bag Guide: Ten Fun Wallets

Now that jackets with pockets are coming into play, I think a lot of us might be skipping the bag altogether and just grabbing our wallets to run out to the store, (or wherever) so why not make them a little exciting?  Here is my latest edit from unexpected punchy colors to chic classic details.

Yet another Il Bisonte on my radar — this one is that really good, rich green with a simple brass closure.

Clare V.’s small zip-around style has a bold stripe and fun accent colors around the zipper and inside.

Here’s a chic little number for those who don’t require a packed wallet situation.

How about the classic Comme des Garçons in a mood-lifting bright orange?

All Saints’ embossed version has all of the compartments one might need, and can double as a sleek little clutch.

This understated monogrammable envelope style is more exciting in this lapis blue, but the more neutral shades are pretty great too.

The old-school gold coach logo mixed with some subtle quilting makes this piece feel extra elevated.

A snake-like zip style wallet keeps everything easily contained, and looks a lot more expensive than it is.

Might as well throw in this Gucci. with the glitzy-yet-classic double G logo. p.s. it was chosen as part of Net a Porter’s Net Sustain edit — read more about it here.

This quilted zip guy feels slightly fancy in a Chanel kind of way, while also managing to give off a slight biker vibe.

  1. Hey Andrea,

Love the blog! I’ve been reading for years. Just wanted to let you know that IWTBH stopped updating in my RSS reader (Bloglovin’) a couple of weeks ago. Maybe you can look into that if it’s not too annoying?

    1. Hi! Thank you for reading! We had an admin who did a bunch of stuff that seems to keep coming back to haunt us. Will definitely look into it, and thanks for letting us know! xx

  2. Love this no bag/ wallet only idea but having been the victim years ago
of a major pick-pocket theft in NYC, I like holding onto my money and card more
securely with a shoulder or crossboy bag- even if it’s smaller.
Once this happens to you you’re always checking. Sad but true.
