Here is a cute pic of French icon Jeanne Damas (who I completely fanned out on recently at my friend Edie’s store), in a cool almost-winter get-up of a luxe shearling jacket, simple cardigan and well-worn jeans with sexy boots, which we can all copy for not a whole lot of cash. p.s. Check out Jeanne’s fun book here and inspirational Parisian-girl line Rouje right here. Now let’s shop the look!
Jeanne’s classic aviator jacket no doubt set her back quite a bit, but H&M’s faux version tells the same story (looks pretty warm too), for under $100.
It appears as though she has a pretty silk camisole under her sweater and this one has good wide straps that cover your bra.
Next up: A creamy classic cardigan non-chalantly tied in front. J. Crew’s lightweight version would make that easy to do, but it’s also just a great everyday piece worn the normal way.
I had a really hard time trying to find a suede bucket bag (here’s a smaller one that’s pretty good), but this rich cognac leather number works too.
These straight faded Levi’s, like Jeanne’s, are just a good pair of non-trendy (and slightly sexy) everyday jeans. And they’re now 40% off!
I love the burgundy suede boots, and here’s a similar cool style.
It looks like she might be wearing her jewelry-designer sister Louise’s Charlotte necklace which has a really good late ’70’s- early ’80s appeal.

Smashing how she tied the cardigan. It makes the difference.
Any idea how the Levi’s fit? True to size?
Yes pretty much! xx
Her style is so definable. And yet, I think the women with the best style have almost a uniform that they wear on a regular basis. And it works!
