Let’s Check Out Some Fall Sales

I don’t know about you, but the impending election is stressing me out (to say the least), and I am in the mood to distract myself by looking at a bunch of cute things at big markdowns. Anyone else with me? Let’s all take in this J. Crew teddy bear pea coat that would make a really fun parka alternative all winter long. It’s now 40% off plus another 10% after the sale price and I don’t think this is going on for much longer, so grab it while you can!

This silk slip skirt  is the right length for any kind of shoe — knee or sexy ankle bootssandals, flip flops — I could go on and on. And I like how it has an animal print vibe without actually being one.

There’s something so rock ‘n roll about a pair of white ankle boots, and these classic jodhpurs would look super fresh with black twill jeans and a blazer.

Madewell’s woolly jacket has a slight military nod and would make a great layer under a puffer all winter, and then of course, the perfect spring jacket later.

Here’s a simple crossbody to wear forever.

Rag & Bone faded gray jeans are a nice alternative from black or blue and have a slight rock star thing going on.

Here’s a cool pair of suede boots that would work really well with cream jeans (these Everlanes are now $34!) and a big cozy sweater.

I really want this sweet puff sleeved cashmere sweater for Zooms and beyond!

This “diamond” huggie set is good for multiple holes, or you can put two in one, or just share with a friend.

High waist denim trousers would be so good with that puff-sleeved sweater and boots, and in the spring with a tee.

I would rock these Sabah-esque slides in the house all season, and if they were still intact by April or May, I’d wear them all over the place.

Everlane’s split neck top is definitely. maximum-rotation kind of piece and is now under $40.

  1. I bought those slides from Madewell and they’re so chic! They ran a wee bit big.

Your description of the cozy sweater, ivory jeans, and tan suede boots is so good and I’ve got all of the parts! But I might have to get the Everlane shirt – “maximum rotation,” indeed.

  2. I jumped and immediately ordered the J.Crew jacket. Looks like an elevated and fuzzy update of the pea coat. Final sale, so there’s no going back now……..
