It’s A Great Time for a Fanny Pack

As you all know by now, I love my belt bag for so many reasons — it’s cute, holds just what I need including my new mini wallet, not to mention a hands-free life is more important now than ever. And sporty or more refined, they look great over dresses or jeans (and later, jackets) either around the waist of slung over your chest. This chic cheetah print from Clare V. lies nice and flat and has a good wide zipper so you can access anything easily. p.s. cute sweatshirt, too!

Here’s a classic leather number that looks great over a coat and can be used as a makeshift wallet (it’s now 20% off, along with everything else on the site with the code SHOPSMALL).

Hunter’s quilted pouch marries their puffer and original fanny pack and is kind of like a sporty Chanel.

Baggu’s version is nice and roomy with two compartments, and comes in a cool camel and tomato red too. Had to throw in this old school Gucci that would elevate just about anything you have on.

This silver guy adds a little dose of disco and reminds me of my mom’s old metallic Le Sport Sac in the ’70s.

This one is basically a belt with benefits — perfect to give a shapeless dress a more of a silhouette.

Here’s a nice raffia version that can go beachy or city, depending on your mood.

Uniqlo’s sporty fanny bag comes in five colors and is under twenty bucks!

If you’re a fan of the iconic MZ Wallace quilted Metro tote, you’re going to love this.
Clare V.’s woven bag is simple enough to go with anything, but that cool woven texture and little shot of color make it interesting.

I kind of love this for the beach or water park and it’s only $15!

  1. Can vouch for the Uniqlo fanny pack (and their shoulder bag version). Lightweight, tough, carries a lot, cheap enough to get a couple colors. I have one for hikes and one for the (few) times I venture out on errands.

  2. Andrea, perfect dog walking bags ! Roomy enough for poopie bags, treats, cell and keys. The water resistant ones are great for iffy weather and rainy days though not quite as chic as the
    leather and logo ones.
A must for every dog owner!

  3. These are all so good! I first found out about Andi bags on Kim’s GirlsOfACertainAge blog and I am a total convert. They are super rugged and versatile–I took the Go bag (see https://theandibrand.com/collections/hip-packs?page=1) on a trip to Russia last year and it was wonderful–fanny pack or a cross shoulder as needed. They are like Transformers with all the ways you can wear them! There are smaller versions for the true fanny pack aficionados, and the periodic sales they run are really great ways to get into the brand.

  4. Was actually looking at that baggu one for hiking – whenever that is a thing again. Btw, if you ever want to see an Irish person fall down laughing, mention “fanny pack”
