It’s a Good Time for a Leather Jacket

It’s finally the right season to rock a leather jacket and I’m not just talking about the ubiquitous biker versions (although I have included a couple because what’s not to love?). Right now there are so many styles to choose from including this absolutely perfect Johnny Cash number from Nili Lotan that is now on sale!

This one is faux, and I love the color and warmth and puffiness of it.

Black motorcycle styles are everywhere, but this chic burgundy-brown one from All Saints is just as versatile but way more special.

Madewell’s washed leather “denim” jacket is definitely a forever piece.

If you’re looking for a good black biker style without so many bells and whistles, may I present this shrunken All Saints one that boasts a perfect slightly cropped hem and sleeves.

Everlane’s version is cool in its simplicity and comes in an array of colors like this cool baby blue.

This Sandro cropped piece would be so great over dresses, but of course also with all kinds of trousers and jeans and maybe a chunky turtleneck.

Deadwood’s recycled blazer looks like an oversize vintage score.

The shape of Mango’s teal green jacket  is very 1950s Dior couture or Jacques Marcel (bonus points if you get that reference). Picture it with jeans and Stan Smiths for a thoroughly modern vibe.

Here is an incredible menswear coat that could replace your usual wool one and make you feel that much cooler in the bargain.

This rich brown patent leather peacoat is a thousand chef’s kisses!

  1. Loving the Nili but am really looking for one I can wear a sweater under – do you think that one’d work if I bought a larger size to allow for clothing bulk?

  2. The best leather moto jackets are from Isabel Marant – while super pricey (? More than $1,000 for sure) there are tons on the RealReal for $300-400. I wear my constantly and always get “I love that jacket!” Comments. I have the Kady.
