I like To Think Ahead, So Let’s Shop Some Winter Deals Now

A couple of weeks ago, in the middle of a sweltering day in the city, I actually purchased these down-filled leather mittens on crazy sale, because when it’s suddenly below freezing and I can’t feel my fingers, I will be beyond happy to have them. So while it’s not exactly thrilling for those who enjoy instant-gratification purchases, believe me these deals are too good to pass up and you will thank me later. First up: Mango’s chic heather camel coat that you will reach for when you need to look polished (or not).

Who doesn’t love a good cashmere beanie? This happy red one is now only $58 down from $145.

This rich-looking cozy white/navy split-neck number is 70% off and will only set you back $57.

I can’t stop thinking about these Eddie Bauer duck boots that are currently just under $90, because I think I like them even better than the L.L. Bean.

This perfect heather gray V-neck cashmere sweater is 50% off and the deal is ending tomorrow, so act fast! Plus you can totally wear it for beach nights right now.

Such a cool long leather skirt at 50% off to maybe wear at night now with a tee, and of course all fall and winter long.

Here’s a little army green puffer that is suddenly just under $59, and it also comes in red and black.

I am crazy about these Françoise Hardy-esque boots that happen to be waterproof and 60% off, ending tomorrow.

6397 makes some pretty stellar sweaters. and this  slouchy-cool perfect oversized cardigan is down to $275 from $495. So good with white and blue jeans alike.

We can all use a quietly glamorous cashmere scarf, and this one was $250 but can be yours for under $100.

L.L. Bean’s classic retro vest is now just under $80.

  1. I’m with you. So many good deals on great fall/winter stuff that can be had now. I’m outside of Toronto and for us – the transition to fall starts in August so I’m already looking for options for the season ahead.

    1. It’s 116$ for me too after trying different browsers. And I love it! Would it possible to share the code you see?

  2. Love the wrap skirt (and COS in general) but wonder what happens when you sit down? Can’t tell if it’s really a wrap or faux. Oh to be near a store.

  3. The Eddie Bauer boots are cute, but the LL Bean ones come in all kinds of styles and colorways, too. I love my bison leather ones, but I do wish I had purchased the shearling-lined ones for extra coziness. Plus, they’re made in Maine!

  4. I’m the same, I just bit the bullet and bought a leather biker jacket in the dead of summer, but heavily discounted!

  5. Excellent post and much appreciated, Andrea! I couldn’t resist having a COS piece and I live in Michigan (brrrr), so the sweater was a perfect purchase for me. FYI, you can subscribe to the COS newsletter and get an additional 15% off this awesome bargain.

  6. I love buying off season since you get a fantastic deal, plus when you discover your “new” clothes a few months later, it’s like buying them all over again. Last summer I bought a pair of Vince leather pants for 60% off that I lived in all winter, and i just scored a brown midi (real) leather skirt on The Real Real for a smidge over $100, with the tags still on! It’s too hot in the Midwest right now for it, but I’m happy to wait!

  7. I do that ALL THE TIME! I love fall shopping the online leftovers…so many great pieces. Especially now when funds are tight. Saturday I ordered three items from Topshop/Nordstrom…a cream coat, blazer and long floral dress – ALL TOTALING UNDER $100. I’m sitting in my home office, facing the window, waiting for the UPS guy. It’s been too long!!
