Feeling Like An Early Spring

I don’t care what that groundhog saw, I choose to believe warm weather is just around the corner! And with that, I am looking at the right pieces to get us there, even if it’s just in our minds. How about Sezane’s dress that looks like a fabulously happy garden explosion? So good with ankle boots, clogs or Birks.

Mansur Gavriel’s fun clutch is like a little cloud for your stuff. Plus it has a handy shoulder strap.

I fell in love with this optimistic purple print the minute I saw it.

Nili Lotan’s new baby blue jeans have a great shape and fun retro vibe.

A classic light suede boot as the ultimate transitional piece, and  this one from Rag & Bone is the perfect specimen.

What is spring (and fall, for that matter) without a classic trench? Throw it over a tee and jeans for instant elevation.

Here’s a very French 100% cotton sweater to brighten things up right now.I’ve always romanticized every iteration of Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s clear wedge slides because they seem like the perfect shoes for a good time!

This cool painterly shirtdress displays tie dye at its chicest.

Here’s a cheery little floral top from Dôen that would look super cute over a turtleneck or long sleeved tee right now. Plus it’s on sale!

This leopard number would look so great over so many things — floral dresses included.

  1. Sezane usually strikes me as a bit too precious – but not today. Thanks for the reintroduction – love the dress but opted to try jeans instead….we’ll see.

  2. Love the Sezane dress and purple blouse. They remind me of seventies pieces
I had and wish I still did! A nice way to ease away from athleisure and tees A!
    Thanks! Buying both!

    1. Me too, the one pair of boot cut I have-that I bought as an experiment- are tired and need a relief pitcher.
