I spent some time looking around for something fresh and affordable to get us all excited to do a little late-summer shopping. For starters, I am really intrigued by this modern-day dickie/vest ($49.99) that would make a cool and totally new closet staple to layer over classic button-downs and long-sleeved tees and under all kinds of jackets.
Here’s a pretty heart ring ($55) in a chic jewel tone that’s just right for fall.
Good denim carpenter jeans ($68) truly are forever.
This pretty wrap blouse ($59.99) provides just enough excitement and is the perfect work/Zoom piece to get you out of that loungewear.
Everlane’s new bag ($48) is minimal chic at its best, and holds enough to can get you through the day. I like all the colors, but this one is like a modern army bag.
You can’t go wrong with classic pleated pants ($39.99) to wear with tees and sneakers or heels and blouses.
This sweet dress ($34.99) reminds me of classic Agnés b. (i.e. totally chic, unpretentious and way French) p.s. this is Caroline Forsling, the model on the cover of The Cool Factor, and she’s super tall, so if you’re not, this would fall below your knees (where I would want it to hit).
Blink and it will be hat weather, so might as well grab a totally affordable cashmere cap ($29.99) before it’s all sold out.
Mango’s slightly rock ‘n roll suede boots ($99.99) are a perfect cross between Saint Laurent and Isabel Marant and would make any pants (or even a midi skirt) that much cooler.
Everlane’s Straight Leg Crop pants ($72) are a great shape, perfect for every day and come in eight good shades.
This paper thin knit polo ($69) feels very sexy-seventies and really freshens up a pair of jeans in a flash.
