Brand Spotlight: LACAUSA

I bought this slip dress on a whim, and am so glad I did. It’s nice and loose, perfect for futzing around the house or with a chunky cardigan and tights now, and will be so good over a white tee, and maybe some black Birks later. Anyway, it made me curious what else they have going on, so here are some other great finds from this L.A.-based (and mostly made there) ethical brand.

This tee is a great shape and comes in so many fun colors/tie-dye patterns.

I love these painter pants with a more feminine cut and cute thin stripe.

Here’s a roomy dress made from pretty deadstock fabric. Just add Doc Martens to revisit your ’90s self!

Such a great jumpsuit with a nice nipped-in waist to wear over long-sleeved tees or striped turtlenecks now and on its own later.Think of this pretty necklace as an elevated pukka choker (so good in the summer).

And here’s a roomy jumpsuit that could work when an occasion calls for a dress.

  1. Thank you so much for introducing me to this ethical brand! I’ve committed to only do shopping with ethically committed brands and I’m thrilled to add this one to my list.

  2. First, I love painter’s pants. They bring back memories of high school when we wore cream painter’s pants and Wallabees. Now, for help. I’m in need of boot cut or wider leg pants that aren’t high rise(9-91/2). I’m short waisted and high rise pants reach almost to my underarm.

  3. I bought two of those slip dresses two or three years ago and can add that they wear well––both still look brand new. One I purchased is in a pale color so I bought the matching slip and am glad I did as it is somewhat see-through. I’ve also purchased tees from this company which have also worn well.
