Best of The Week: 2/19/21

I am really loving this easy-yet-something wrap dress that looks so cool with these tough boots. Also, think how great it would be with some little heels if you ever had a reason to actually get a little dressed up!

I am a big fan of Alexis Laurel Jewelry, and am now hankering for one of the star-sign necklaces that kind of look like cool ancient coins and make the best layering pieces.

Here’s a perfect chino jumpsuit that feels very classic Lauren Hutton, and can take the place of sweats for an elevated at-home look.

After my friend Christine raved about them, I bought a pack of these simple Uniqlo masks. She was right — they’re kind of perfect — chic (if a mask can be such a thing) and super comfy, especially around the ears.

I wish it were warm enough to rock these cute huarache slides! Maybe on a rare balmy day with a sock? And here’s a more shoe-y version. p.s. they’re vegan.

As you know, I love Norma Kamali! So I bought her new book (and one for my friend Anne). It’s all about her life philosophy, is packed with health and beauty tips and is just a super fun read.

It’s pricy, but how good is this 100% cashmere tee?

I’ve been dipping into the Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops a lot lately (because winter pasty!) — I mix a bit with my Erborian CC Cream and instantly look so much fresher.

  1. You’ve done it again: I want everything on this Friday list!! I have been watching interviews with Norma Kamali as she has been doing press tour to promote her new book, and she is so vibrant and glowing that it makes you want to take up any of her practices! I mean to look that good at 75, wowsers! Also, those Uniqlo masks look perfect.

  2. You and the NYT have renewed my interest in Norma Kamali recently – the “Kindle vs. real book” debate has begun. I usually opt for Kindle but feel like “this kind” of book may warrant real book status.

  3. Those shoes are so cute! But DAMN!!! No size 11’s. I’m always surprised when shoe manufacturers stop at 10 – Haven’t they seen “This is Spinal Tap”?

    1. It looks like they have the exact same style in men’s — and they go up much higher in size! 🙂
