What’s in My Bag Right Now

Here I am modeling my favorite little Il Bisonte bag that looks like it would hold only the bare minimum, but is actually  more like a clown car. I can pretty much get everything I need for a not-packed day in there and then maybe a little more. So this post was just a thinly veiled excuse to show it off (and stupidly, like most good things, it’s being discontinued, so if you want one, better act now!)

I have one of these little bottles on me at all times (in the diaper bag, car, you name it). It’s got a nice lavender scent and is so much more glamorous than Purell.
It’s really the smell of Glossier Coconut Balm that keeps me coming back for more (but it does make a great lippie and face gloss too).
I’ve yet to find a better bronzer than Guerlain Terracotta and I always have it handy just in case I suddenly fall ashen.
My friend Brenda turned me on to this organic Vetiver oil and now I pull it out all through the day for a little aromatic pick-me-up.

Yes, I still love my velvet scrunchies. Nothing is more gentle on hair and they really do hold topknots or low, loose buns so perfectly. p.s. they’re great to sleep in, too.
And then there’s my new-ish Clinique Pep-Start eye cream for all-day brightening.

Thumbs up to the description of the bag: clown car. Love it!

Can you tell me about your bracelets? Particularly the bracelets on the same arm as the watch.

That bag is one gorgeous clown car! But it’s so perfect…why discontinue it?
I also love Dr. Bronner Lavender hand sanitizer – it’s 100% better than those chemical ones you buy next to the checkout! And I’m pretty sure that you turned me on to it. 🙂

My 19-yr old daughter and I were having a good laugh over an old pic of her at age 7 or 8 wearing her favorite (faded) tie-dye t-shirt, jersey culottes that she had worn 3 years in a row (they resembled Bermuda shorts by that time), and, the piece de resistance….her matching purple hair scrunchie! 😉

I had that same bag from Il Bisonte in the 70s. Now my daughter has it! They had a store downtown then. Timeless!

Yes — this store used to be the Il Bisonte-only one.
