Top 5: Annabel Inganni, Founder/Creative Director, Wolfum

Annabel used to be a designer in the accessory and apparel industry, and you can tell — her vision for Wolfum, the chic and fun home line she produces in Los Angeles,  is very cool in that these-will-be-heirlooms-one-day way. And when I say heirlooms, I’m not talking about my grandma’s floral china set (pretty as it is). Think along the lines of ’70s classics like Heller, Marimekko and Vera. Everything is fun and colorful and inspired by vintage textiles, yet made in a very modern way — sustainable and environmentally responsible. And I like the prices — a crazy-chic domino set is only $68, and all of her punchy throw pillows are under $100. It’s no wonder that her picks are as much fun as her designs.

1. Clare V Foldover clutch “This speaks to the balance I try to achieve in my wardrobe: classic, bold and a bit naughty. I love all of her bags, but this guy has been by bestie for a while now. Works just as well with all black at night, as it does with a vintage-patterned dress and flats.”
2. Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Markers “These are my favorites to use when designing. I love the ultra fine point for detail, the color pallettes are amazing, and they look like candy when strewn across my desk.”
3. Bellodgia Eau De Toilette by Caron: “At some point in my late teens, I declared to my mother that I needed a signature scent (ah the teenage years!). She gifted me with this intoxicating perfume, as it had been her Grandmother’s favorite. I become a bit more sophisticated each time I wear this spicy scent. It was developed in 1927 and inspired by the carnation fields of Lake Como emboldened with notes of lily of the valley, carnation, jasmine, musk, and sandalwood”
4. Wary Myers Soap “I buy these in mass for not only my home, but for gifts (they work for almost anyone!). I am obviously drawn to the colors and bold patterns, but the added allure is in the beautiful, exotic scents – quirk and personality for your bathroom”

5. Wolfum Tray Set “”I can honestly say these are the most useful and versatile items in my collection. I use them together or separately (totally fun to mix & match) to sort my mail, odds and ends or when entertaining, to serve drinks and hor d’oeuvres.”

Pssst! That’s not a backgammon set, it’s dominos! So lovely, indeed.

Love her pillows and trays!…I pinned a few for future reference, since I have this thing about redecorating via accessories. I have the same Clare V. bag and I love it. Mine says “Naughty Grandma.” 😉
