The Edit: Theory

It’s exciting to suddenly see this somewhat ‘safe’ brand looking a little more cool and carefree. It’s gone through a lot of personality changes and I’m thinking they should stick with this one for a while. There’s also a new “Good Wool” line made of ethically sourced fabric, as in the pieces that make up this cute outfit here.

This simple silk dress is very ’90s Calvin Klein which is a great thing. Plus you can wear it so many different ways in all seasons.
A caramel-y classic tote looks a little Hermés-y and has a nice cross-body strap option.
A slouchy cashmere tee shirt is pure effortless luxury in a very Celine kind of way.
Wide white jeans look so fresh just the way they’re styled here, but you can throw on a big oatmeal sweater and boots too.
Pointy, slightly bare flats are just the thing to make any kind of jeans look a little French.
This super simple trench is supposed to be a hybrid with a moto jacket, but I think it’s actually just quietly chic.
You can’t really go wrong with a classic black leather jacket and a black leather blazer will truly make anything else you pair it with that much cooler.
This reversible jacket can give you a little blue excitement, or just stay quiet and gray when you’re in that mood.

I’m a big Theory fan, especially their blazers. They just seem to withstand the test of time. It’s nice to see they are branching out a bit.

I just wish their Ts and sweaters didn’t cost so much!

Much less “business-y” than I remember them…and that’s a good thing. Really fresh! But I echo cw’s concern about price.

The trench link goes to the leather blazer and it isn’t on the Theory site, is it sold elsewhere? Thanks.

      Sorry! Fixed now. xx
