The Edit: H & M

I usually don’t go into the store, because as I’ve mentioned here before, the music is so loud it feels like an assault. But the online experience is much more civilized, and aside from having great baby stuff, there are some pretty covetable things for grownups, too. I mean check out this buttery tan leather jacket that looks like a fancy designer piece.

Here’s a sweet spring dress in the vein of Doen that you can wear now with boots and a chic coat, and later with some pretty sandals.

We can all use a good little makeup bag, like this mauve-y suede one with two handy zippers.
A Mexican-inspired embroidered top looks like a score from a trip to Tulum.
Chic platforms make a nice sneaker alternative.
I’m way into sweatshirts lately and this one is the right gray and has a nice big hood to pull out from under your jacket or coat.
Denim trousers are yet another example of jeans that are completely appropriate for work.
I had to add another pretty floral dress because they’re just getting them so right lately.
This spring plaid blazer reminds me of something my mom would have worn in the ’80s (in a really good way, of course).
And here’s a fun blousy top that looks more “on trend” than your usual button-down.
