I decided to celebrate the cool girls I knew in the ’80s. Now this is how to rock a pair of Vans.


 

I have always loved a big pair of bamboo earrings — just like LL Cool J sang about in “Around the Way Girl.”

These longer shorts remind me of the ones I wore with my brown Doc Martens in the summer of ’87.
