Silver, Silver Everywhere

All of a sudden wearing some metallic silver seems like a totally normal idea. And dare I say it’s almost a neutral? Like this crazy-seeming biker jacket, when it’s a bit beat up, would work in place of a black one and be a whole lot more fun.

If you’d rather get your silver excitement more subtly, you can always get this cute little Baggu change purse to pull out of your bag for  a little happy punch throughout the day.
A super-shiny anorak is kind of space age and would look so cool with more down-to-earth pieces like worn-in jeans and classic jodhpur boots.

My friend Anne and I would have done anything for these retro pumps in high school so we could emulate the Go-Go’s and the like. But you can wear them now with a plain white tee and black skinnies.
A tight reptilian silver skirt sounds a little cheesy but it actually looks super chic and polished with the right styling.

I couldn’t resist throwing in these Jeff Koons-ispired earrings because they’re just too fun.
And a sexy-punky bootie is a great way to turn any jeans into an evening outfit.

I spotted those pumps earlier today perusing UO but thank you for these ankle boots. I’ve been on the hunt for babies like these for what seems like years!

I’m old and plump. But I want that silver anorak like anything.

I personally wouldn’t wear them, but I got a real kick out of the Jeff Koons-ish balloon animal earrings!
