I Love Boots (and I’m not talking about shoes)

I am writing from London, which used to be extra exciting because of Topshop and All Saints. Now they’re a stone’s throw from each other on lower Broadway in New York City, so it wouldn’t even occur to me to bother when I’m here. But I still get excited every time I pass a Boots. Even though Walgreens and Duane Reade now have a big stake in the chain (you can get No. 7 Products among other things there now), there are still a few gems that you can only pick up here. Good thing I found some of my favorite things on the web so you can get them right away too.

Ambre solaire
I think I first bought Garnier Ambre Solaire with my friend Tiffany in Paris, and we both became obsessed.  It goes on really smoothly and smells amazing and when I saw it at Boots, I wanted to grab at least five bottles!
It’s kind of like Airborne, but Berocca just seems so much better!

 Kalms
I bought these pills once when I was nervous for a big meeting and I swear they calmed me down. They make a bedtime version too.
This Tangle Teezer is pretty awesome — it really does go right through knots without lots of breakage.

I rarely pack shampoo and conditioner and usually get some  Aussie 3 Minute Miracle when I’m here. I know it’s available in plenty of places, but the packaging here is different ( i.e. not purple) and for some reason I only buy it to use when I’m over here. It really does leave my hair shiny and bouncy and smelling amazing.

That looks like the original Aussie 3-minute Miracle, which had the BEST scent…and then they changed it. Now, it’s really hard to find, and I’m not even sure they distribute the original in the states anymore.

I discovered Boots at our local Target. I like their organic facial oil. It’s lightly scented and is very effective.
