Back for Spring: Feet!

On one of the hotter days last week I was so excited to shed the socks and slide on my No.6 summer staples until I realized my feet were just not up to snuff, so on with the boots once again. But once you smooth everything out with a little post-winter exfoliation, and maybe use some transformative body bronzer and throw on a fresh coat of polish, your feet are ready for the world. p.s. How adorable are these Doc Marten sandals?

I am a believer in slathering some heavy duty cream on your hands and then wearing thin cotton gloves to bed (so not sexy, but it works). I am now intrigued by these little sockies  that are infused with copper promise to deliver all the smoothing benefits without the cream.
This German foot scrub has stuff like bamboo granules, sugar crystals and avocado oil in it, so it naturally exfoliates all the nasty skin while moisturizing at the same time.

Nothing really takes care of nasty callouses like a professional file, and this one would do the trick between pedicures.
This Hand and Heel Therapy  is for heavy-duty moisturizing — plus it contains alpha hydroxy acid and natural oils like lemon and spearmint to refresh and provide anti-bacterial properties.

It’s a huge bummer to put your pasty winter feet in your new summer sandals, so here’s a tinted gel for an immediate glow!
I learned about this perfect nail color called Fashion from Winnie Beattie, who owns one of my favorite stores in NYC (Warm). One coat looks super fresh on toes (and fingers).

What is the nail color called? The link goes to all of the colors at Nordstrom. Thanks!

Love those Docs! Are they still sold in UK sizing ? I went to order but hesitated because although I am a size 8, I wonder if I should order a 6?

I assume on here they’re US sizes.

I love having pedi’s all winter, just because it’s a treat. But pasty white is still a problem. Thanks for the tips!

I love the Gehwol products! I use their hand cream, which has a Homeoplasmine consistency. Very intrigued to try this foot scrub of theirs!

“Fashion” isn’t one of the color choices for the nail polish…

I learned about BabyFoot on this site, and while it is great stuff there is, for me at least,10 days of not being able to show my feet to anyone. I got this incredible foot file from Revlon recently and it is game changing. One has to be careful not to over do it, but needless to say, I’m hooked:
